Nissan  is set to unveil a glasses-type wearable computer specifically designed for drivers later this month. The company launched a dark, futuristic  video  this week, previewing the Nissan 3E. The steamy clip features a shirtless model, intense music and just a short peek at the gadget, which looks like a souped-up version of  Google Glass . Nissan's headpiece could compete with Glass, which has already posed problems for drivers. Last month, a California woman was  issued the first-ever ticket for driving with Glass ; her violation read "Driving with monitor visible to driver (Google Glass)." Nissan said that 3E is still under development. After the  Federal Aviation Administration   announced Thursday  that it would begin easing restrictions on passengers' use of electronic devices during flights, JetBlue captured the new policy in a video. Deploying a team of two videographers, the airline created the video, below, which shows its first moments of in-flight gadget use. “The video was created so we could give a behind-the-scenes look,” Jenny Dervin, a JetBlue spokesperson, told  Mashable . “We just wanted to show how we were able to implement the policy immediately.” Featuring real passengers flying from New York City to Buffalo, N.Y., the video shows them holding their electronic devices, newly freed from previous in-flight usage restrictions. “At 4:15 p.m. ET on Friday, we got approval from the FAA, and we sent the word out in a message to each aircraft.," Dervin added. Back in May, at a news conference in New York, Yahoo  unveiled  a revamped version of Flickr that gave users 1 TB of free storage and allowed them to upload full-resolution photos. “The look and feel here is about photos and being unbounded,”  Yahoo  Chief Executive Officer Marissa Mayer said at the time. “Photos make the world go round. We want to make Flickr awesome again.” Early reviews were largely positive. David Pogue (then of the  New York Times ,  now  of Yahoo), called  the new Flickr a “gigantic improvement” and raved about the “insane, historic, vast amount of space.” But six months later, awesomeness has proven elusive. Google’s new London office, scheduled to open in 2016, will have an open-air swimming pool, an indoor football pitch, a climbing wall and a roof garden from which to watch trains glide out of Kings Cross station toward Cambridge or  Hogwarts .
