NVIDIA Unveils 7-Inch Tegra Note 7 Tablet With Advanced Stylus
On the same day that Apple announced the availability of its much-anticipated Retina iPad mini , NVIDIA and its U.S. partner EVGA unveiled its own 7-inch Android tablet called the EVGA Tegra Note 7. Equipped with a Tegra 4 quad-core processor, a 1280x800 display, micro HDMI to connect to HD televisions, 16GB of storage and a 5-megapixel camera (along with a front-facing webcam), the $199 device offers a strong Android tablet alternative to the pricier Nexus 7 and Galaxy Note 8. EVGA claims that the device has the world’s first HDR camera in a tablet, a feature that could draw interest from those looking to use the Tegra Note 7 as their primary photo-taking device, rather than a smartphone or a standalone camera.
