كشفت شركة مرسيدس الرائدة في عالم صناعة السيارات عن الجيل الجديد من طراز "S- CLASS" فئة "S65 AMG"، التي ستقدمها في معرضي لوس أنجلوس وطوكيو. زُدت هذه السيارة بمحرك ثنائي التيربو بسعة 6000 CC  يولد 630 حصانا، وناقل سرعة أوتوماتيكي مكون من 7 سرعات.  ويصل تسارع سيارة "S65 AMG" من نقطة الصفر الى 100 كلم/ ساعة في غضون 4.3 ثانية، وبسرعة أقصاها 250 كلم/ ساعة. وعلى الرغم من سعة المحرك الكبير التي تمتلكه سيارة الـ "65 AMG"، إلا أن معدل استهلاكها للوقود يعتبر مناسبا ويبلغ 11.9 لتر/100 كلم، وهو الأكثر كفاءة وفقا للشركة الألمانية. وسيتم طرح هذه السيارة في الأسواق خلال شهر مارس/ آذار 2014 بسعر يبدأ من 230 ألف يورو. http://arabic.rt.com/news/633299/

Reading the news and driving don't mix for obvious safety reasons, but a new  app  now makes it possible by reading articles out loud while you drive. Called Dragon Drive, the app was designed by voice-recognition software company Nuance for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Its  original  goal was to help drivers compose and listen to texts and emails while behind the wheel. Now, it has a useful new feature: When media outlets publish an article, drivers can request it, and the text-to-speech software streams an audio recording of the article through Mercedes-Benz's COMAND system. While the news-reading technology was first available last June, a new update ensures that the app's pronunciation will get better with practice.
